How to Apply
To apply for any project type, submit a Letter of Intent to programs@nmpsfa.org detailing your funding request. The letter must:
- Specify which funding program the district is applying for
- Confirm eligibility requirements are met (current ranking, wNMCI score, etc.)
- Establish application request and project scope
- Provide estimated costs
- Confirm the district can support a local match

Awards Process
Following application, the process typically consists of:
- For Standards projects and complex Systems or Pre-K projects, PSFA will conduct a site visit
- School districts will present their request to the PSCOC
- PSFA will then present their recommendations for awards
- Recommendations will include analyses of requests, scopes, estimated costs, etc.
- PSCOC approves awards and determines award amount for each application/request
- PSFA will then present their recommendations for awards
- Once an award is made, the project process commences
- Planning, design, and construction phases
