Facilities Master Plan Assistance

A Facilities Master Plan (FMP) is a requirement for all schools and charters who would like to apply to receive funding from the PSCOC for school renovations or new builds. PSFA has a program for schools and charters that need financial assistance in creating their 5-year Facilities Master Plans.

Prerequisites for FMP Assistance

For ALL schools

  • The school district does NOT have a current 5-year FMP

OR

  • The school district’s 5-year FMP will expire within one year of the application
  • The school district cannot be under contract with a FMP consultant when applying.

For Charter Schools ONLY

Before becoming eligible for FMP Funding Assistance, state-chartered charter schools must:

  • Have been open for five years AND
  • Have one additional year for planning.
