Pre-K Facilities Projects

Pre-kindergarten education lays the foundation for a child’s future success in school and in life. Research shows that high-quality pre-K programs help children build early literacy, math, and social skills, setting them up for stronger academic outcomes. To support this important stage of learning, PSFA offers funding for the construction, renovation, replacement, or expansion of pre-K facilities. This funding helps ensure that school districts and charter schools across New Mexico have safe, developmentally appropriate spaces for young learners. By investing in pre-K facilities, New Mexico is helping more children get a strong start in their educational journey.

Applications are now closed.

Pre-K funding opportunities are available for new construction, replacement of aging facilities, renovation, or addition the addition of pre-K facilities.

School districts and schools with pre-kindergarten programs are encouraged to apply.
